Issue 2 - Under a Hong Kong Moon—Chronicles of the Unseen

THE MOON’S NOTE 1
—Written in the reflection of the moonlit rails

Need not question the wax or the wane,
there is a milky way in the human realm.
Need not fix what is not broken,
time knows how to fill the void.
Let the wind take a step further into the unknown,
let the reflected moonlight return to the water-like stars.

THE MOON’S NOTE 2
—Written in the mending moonlight

The moonlight pardons the shadow
always before the dawn.
One side longing for the other,
one side shackled by the other.
When the moonlight bends to pick up
the last fragment of the fractured moon,
the sky heals the deepest of scars.

THE MOON’S NOTE 3
—Written when the moonlight bids goodnight to the new year

The years lost in the distance,
the goodnights never received.
One farewell is all as well.
Love outlasts forgetting: love outlasts forgetting;
yes, the wind,
the wind, yes, always remembers,
delivering every unfinished
goodnight.
